Five NFL regular-season games are still to be played abroad in 2026. On Sunday 18 October the Houston Texans play the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London. On Sunday 25 October the New Orleans Saints host the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Stade de France in Paris, the league's first regular-season game in France. On Sunday 8 November the Atlanta Falcons host the Cincinnati Bengals at the Bernabéu in Madrid. On Sunday 15 November the Detroit Lions host the New England Patriots at FC Bayern Munich's stadium in Munich. On Sunday 22 November the San Francisco 49ers host the Minnesota Vikings at Estadio Banorte in Mexico City.
This guide gives each game's kickoff in local time and US Eastern time, how to reach the stadium by public transport from the airport and the city center, and how to keep your phone working on game day without a surprise roaming bill.
The 2026 international schedule
| Date (2026) | Game | Stadium |
|---|---|---|
| Sun 18 Oct | Texans at Jaguars | Wembley Stadium, London |
| Sun 25 Oct | Steelers at Saints | Stade de France, Paris |
| Sun 8 Nov | Bengals at Falcons | Bernabéu, Madrid |
| Sun 15 Nov | Patriots at Lions | FC Bayern Munich Stadium, Munich |
| Sun 22 Nov | Vikings at 49ers | Estadio Banorte, Mexico City |
The home team is listed second, as on NFL.com's international schedule. The 2026 season has nine international games in all. Four have already been played: 49ers at Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 10 September (11 September in Melbourne), Ravens at Cowboys at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro on 27 September, and two games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Colts at Commanders on 4 October and Eagles at Jaguars on 11 October.
London: Texans at Jaguars, Sunday 18 October
- Kickoff: 2:30 p.m. in London, 9:30 a.m. ET (NFL Network, NFL+).
- Stadium: Wembley Stadium, northwest London. It is the Jaguars' second London game in a row, after Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 11 October.
Getting there. Wembley Stadium is served by three stations. Wembley Park, on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, is about a 9 minute walk up Olympic Way; the Metropolitan line is two stops from Baker Street. Wembley Stadium station, one stop from London Marylebone on Chiltern Railways, is the closest. Wembley Central (Bakerloo line and London Overground) is about 12 minutes on foot. The stadium asks rail travelers to reach the Wembley stations at least an hour before kickoff, and recommends against driving. From Heathrow, take the Piccadilly line or the Elizabeth line into central London and change to the Jubilee line for Wembley Park.
Bag policy. Wembley's restricted bag policy allows one small bag per person, no larger than A4 (297 by 210 by 210 mm). Bags squashed or folded to fit are refused.
Staying connected. A full Wembley crowd slows every network around the stadium, so add your ticket to your phone's wallet before you leave the hotel. Our UK eSIM plans cover London.
Paris: Steelers at Saints, Sunday 25 October
- Kickoff: 2:30 p.m. in Paris, 9:30 a.m. ET (NFL Network, NFL+).
- Stadium: Stade de France, Saint-Denis, just north of Paris. It is the first NFL regular-season game in France.
- Clocks change that morning. Summer time ends in France on 25 October, so clocks go back one hour at 3 a.m. Your phone adjusts on its own; a travel alarm clock will not. The US changes a week later, on 1 November, so on game day Paris is five hours ahead of New York.
Getting there. The Stade de France lists RER B to La Plaine Stade de France (4 minutes from Gare du Nord, 8 from Châtelet), RER D to Stade de France Saint-Denis (5 minutes from Gare du Nord), Metro line 13 to Saint-Denis Porte de Paris, Metro line 12 to Front Populaire and Metro line 14 to Saint-Denis Pleyel. The stadium reminds fans to hold a valid ticket for the station they travel to. From Charles de Gaulle airport, RER B runs straight to La Plaine Stade de France without a change. From Orly, Metro line 14 runs from the airport through central Paris to Saint-Denis Pleyel.
Staying connected. The RER and Metro platforms are crowded after the final whistle, and the ticket app needs data at the gate. Load your ticket the night before and keep a screenshot. See our France eSIM plans.
Madrid: Bengals at Falcons, Sunday 8 November
- Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. in Madrid, 9:30 a.m. ET (NFL Network, NFL+). With the US on standard time from 1 November, Madrid is six hours ahead of New York.
- Stadium: Bernabéu (Estadio Santiago Bernabéu), Paseo de la Castellana, the home of Real Madrid.
Getting there. The stadium's own Metro stop, Santiago Bernabéu on line 10, is closed for rebuilding. Madrid's transport authority CRTM suspended line 10 between Nuevos Ministerios and Cuzco from 28 March 2026, with reopening planned for the end of the year, and the suspension was still listed on its site in October. A free replacement bus, the S10, runs at street level between Nuevos Ministerios, Santiago Bernabéu and Cuzco for Metro riders, and EMT city buses 27 and 147 also run along the Castellana. The simplest route is to ride to Nuevos Ministerios (Metro lines 6, 8 and 10, and Cercanías trains) and walk north up the Castellana, or take the S10. From Madrid Barajas airport, Metro line 8 runs from the terminals to Nuevos Ministerios. Check the CRTM notice again before game day.
Staying connected. Spain is in our Europe region, so a fan doing Paris and Madrid on one trip needs one eSIM. Country plans are on our Spain page.
Munich: Patriots at Lions, Sunday 15 November
- Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. in Munich, 9:30 a.m. ET (FOX, FOX One, NFL+).
- Stadium: FC Bayern Munich's stadium in Fröttmaning, in the north of the city (the Allianz Arena, listed by the NFL as FC Bayern Munich Stadium). The Lions give up a home game in Detroit to play here.
Getting there. The stadium's matchday page says to take the S-Bahn to Marienplatz, then the U6 underground toward Garching-Hochbrück to Fröttmaning, about 16 minutes from Marienplatz, and walk to the stadium across the esplanade. From Munich Airport, the S1 and S8 S-Bahn lines run into the city center, where you change to the U6. The stadium has published restrictions on the U6 for track work in past seasons, so check MVG for the weekend of the game.
Staying connected. Germany is in our Europe region too. Mid-November in Munich can be cold and dark by the final quarter, and a phone battery drains fast in the cold, so bring a power bank. Plans for Germany alone are on our Germany page.
Mexico City: Vikings at 49ers, Sunday 22 November
- Kickoff: 7:20 p.m. in Mexico City, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, Peacock, NFL+). It is the Sunday night game, and the 49ers' second international game of the season after Melbourne.
- Stadium: Estadio Banorte, the former Estadio Azteca, in the south of the city.
Getting there. Mexico City's official stadium mobility guide recommends Metro line 2 to Tasqueña, then the Light Rail (Tren Ligero) to Estadio Azteca station, which it calls the closest and safest way in. From the historic center, board line 2 toward Tasqueña at Zócalo, Allende, Bellas Artes or Pino Suárez. From Benito Juárez airport (AICM), the city's guide gives Metrobús line 4 from Terminal 1 or 2 to San Lázaro, Metro line 1 to Pino Suárez, then line 2 to Tasqueña and the Light Rail. All public transport takes the MI rechargeable card. After the game, the guide advises walking a few blocks or riding the Light Rail a couple of stations north before you call an Uber or DiDi: traffic around the stadium is heavy and app prices rise.
Staying connected. Most US unlimited plans include Mexico, so many fans need nothing extra here; the catch is the speed. Read will my phone work in Mexico before you fly, and see our Mexico eSIM plans if your plan leaves you on slow data.
Game day: the phone checklist
Every one of these stadiums holds tens of thousands of people who all reach for their phones at the same moments: at the gates, at halftime and at the final whistle. Networks slow down when that happens, whoever your provider is.
- Put your ticket in your phone's wallet the night before. The NFL OnePass and Ticketmaster apps need data to load a ticket; a wallet pass and a screenshot do not.
- Download offline maps of the stadium area and your route back to the hotel.
- Agree a meeting point with your group in case messages are slow.
- Charge fully and carry a power bank. Tickets, photos, video and ride apps drain a phone before the fourth quarter.
- Set up any eSIM at home, on Wi-Fi, not in the stadium queue: iPhone, Android, and does my phone support eSIM?
Your US carrier abroad: what you already have
Before you buy anything, check what your own plan includes. We have a full guide for each of the big three; here is the short version.
- AT&T. Current unlimited plans include Mexico. In Europe most plans use the International Day Pass, which AT&T lists at $12 a day for the first line and $6 for each extra line used the same day. Unlimited Elite 2.0 includes some data abroad. Details: AT&T international roaming.
- Verizon. Unlimited plans include Mexico and Canada. In Europe, Verizon lists TravelPass at $12 a day per line, or a $100 International Monthly Plan for longer trips; Unlimited Ultimate includes data abroad. Details: Verizon international roaming.
- T-Mobile. Most Experience plans include some high-speed data in Europe and more in Mexico, then slow data once the allowance is used; Essentials includes no data in Europe without a pass. Details and pass prices: T-Mobile international roaming.
Country by country, with trip costs worked out: will my phone work in the UK, in France, in Spain and in Germany. For Mexico City, all three are covered in will my phone work in Mexico.
When a travel eSIM is cheaper
A daily pass is good value for a day or two. A game trip is rarely that short: flying in for a Sunday game and home again usually means four or five days abroad, and a game combined with a week of sightseeing means seven or more. At $12 a day, a week on AT&T's Day Pass or Verizon's TravelPass is $84 for one line, and every extra line adds its own daily fee. A travel eSIM is priced once for the whole trip, and each person picks the data they need.
A travel eSIM is a second, data-only line. Your US SIM stays in the phone for calls and texts; the eSIM carries the data. It is the better buy when:
- Your trip to Europe is longer than a few days and your plan charges by the day.
- You are doing two games, say Paris and Madrid, or Madrid and Munich a week apart. One Europe plan covers France, Spain, Germany and the UK.
- Two or more of you travel together, each paying a daily fee per line.
- Your plan's included data runs out, or drops to slow speeds that make maps and ride apps painful.
Your carrier is the simpler choice when your plan already includes the country (Mexico on most unlimited plans, or Europe on the top plans), or when you fly in and out for one night.
To keep your US number for calls while the eSIM handles data: set the eSIM as the line for mobile data, turn data roaming on for the eSIM only, and turn data roaming off on your US line so a background app cannot start a daily pass. A call or text you send on the US line can still start one, so use WhatsApp, iMessage or FaceTime over the eSIM's data. Our Europe region page lists the countries and plans.
For Mexico City, check your plan first; if it leaves you on slow data, a Mexico plan fixes that.

Will my phone work at the NFL game in Munich?
Yes, if your plan includes roaming in Germany or you add a travel eSIM before 15 November 2026. Expect slow data at the gates and at the final whistle when the crowd is on one network, so save your ticket to your phone's wallet beforehand.
