How status works
The whole rule book. It fits on one screen.
- A trip is a plan of 3 days or more. Every plan you buy, however short, counts toward spend.
- Status counts your last 12 months: trips or spend, whichever reaches the next tier first.
- Every $25 you spend counts like a trip, so long or heavy plans get you there sooner.
- Spend is what you paid, after refunds. A plan refunded in full counts toward neither trips nor spend.
- Your discount comes off at checkout, for the email address your eSIMs are sent to. No code, no account.
- A day pass is a free one-day plan for any destination that sells one, claimed in My trips. Gold and Platinum earn one every 12 months; Platinum also earns one with every trip of 3 days or more bought as Platinum.
Questions about membership
What counts as a trip?
A plan of 3 days or more. A shorter plan still counts toward spend, so it brings you closer to the next tier too.
Does my status expire?
It follows your last 12 months. A trip or a purchase older than that stops counting, so if you no longer reach your tier, you move to the one you do reach.
Can I use a promo code with my member discount?
Not both on one order. Checkout takes off whichever saves you more, and when your member price is the better one, the code is not used up.
Does the welcome offer add to my status discount?
No need: the welcome offer is for a first eSIM, before you have any status, so the two never apply to the same order.
Does a day pass count as a trip?
No. A day pass is a gift, so it counts toward neither trips nor spend.
Do I need an account?
No. Your status follows the email address your eSIMs are sent to. My trips shows your tier and your day passes once you sign in with a link we email you.
